Advocates for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ) is an education and advocacy organization that educates the public and policymakers and equips caregivers with the information they need to be a child’s strongest ally. It focuses on child welfare and juvenile justice, early learning, healthcare for children, and support for low-income families.

This project supports Right From the Start NJ, a strategic policy and communications campaign to advance child care, especially infant toddler care, as a policy and funding priority in New Jersey. Activities include meetings with the governor, legislators, and commissioners, and engagement of parents, child care providers, and other organizations through training, advocacy tools, and disseminated information in multiple formats.
