Programs for Parents also and administers the NJ Warmline, which gives health information and training services to child care providers and parents throughout the State.

This project continues support for New Jersey’s testing of Grow NJ Kids, the State’s early childhood program quality rating and improvement system (QRIS). It targets 16 early childhood centers in the South Ward and Fairmount, which are Newark’s lowest income neighborhoods. This second phase of the project also supports the participation of Quality Improvement Specialists in national QRIS conferences, helps participating programs pursue national accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and provides coaching, mentoring, and training to early childhood center directors.
